  Are there any Gilead or MTS graduates on this site? What helped you to see the light and leave?

  i was a faithful witness for years, even graduating from the ministerial training school.

  so much of what i learned at the school has already changed.

  if that was food at the proper time and, according to the latest teachings of the governing body, is now all wrong -- basically lies -- was it really spritual food from god?

  well, ive left the borg bec i realised at least some of it was wrong..now i dont believe a thing they porport

  I got to meet a few MTS brothers....

  and i remember one...i had a gay person tell me that he was gay.....

  i just now wonder if he left and got on with his life.... as i know he is still not married and this was over 10 years ago,...

  Its been a long time since i last posted, but life is being rough again

  it has been a long time since i was on here and life has gone many different ways since then.

  been married and getting divorced, and now have a son.

  life has not been kind to me since i have left the org.

  Well Im no shining example...Im 35, single mother...works full time...2 female best friends moved interstate...have 2 other best friends in the same city...

  I dont get out meeting new people.. as my 2 friends dont do that...

  i dont have any single friends....

  but im starting my 2nd degree this march...doing it part time while working full time...i hope to meet new people through this and hopefully make friends...

  perhaps consider a course, or a sport

  QR codes: a way to stop APOSTATES !!!

  interesting meeting today.the do had the last talk and he mentioned a couple of things i have not heard before :.

  1) the new lighter magazines are designed in a way to attract people to our website .

  2)the ministry will change to incoprorate preacing in town centres and and with stands as in manhattan and certain brothers will be allocated to do this .so it is done now in a big scale ,organised.. 3)the qr codes at the back of the magazines are there for smart phone users to guide them directly to jw.org ,unlike bad old internet via laptops and pc's that you have to look for the website on google and sometimes end up in enemy websites that look like our website but are spreading lies about jw's (he said exactly that!

  in my case it was my best freind in the cong who decided to encourage me to answer up at the wt by... refusing to talk to me afterwards if i hadn't answered up!

  At my mothers funeral

  An old family friend of my mother and I from when we were in was there....he is old enough to be my father...in fact his kids were my friends when growing up...

  anyhow...

  at the cemetry after the funeral outside the chapel everyone was coming up to me giving condolences...

  he walks up (is an ex elder- stepped down) and gets right in my face, yes he is a guy, me a female and he is in my personal space...i couldnt breathe

  he then says...that he knows ive been hurt...he asks "but what did jehovah do when he was hurt?" i looked at him.... and he replied "he wrote down everything" - meaning the bible...

  so he then says to me i should write everything down from the very beginnning that has happened...

  thank god someone interupted...but it was really inappropriate...i had masses of people around me and he is acting like some pseudo psychiatrist whose life in his own beliefs are in ruins...and he is advising me....

  talking with my anionted mum she tells me how worried she is that our lovely cute grandaughter/neice sarah, 9 months, will have her head cut off by jehovahs angel at armagedon.

  {my sister is disfellowshiped and i'm inactive former pioneer/servant 10 years} this sickens me.

  i told her how jah loves "even the embroy" of an unborn child.

  Tell her that you objecct to her 'hate speech'

  That she is never to talk about any of the family dying or being killed by god ever again and especially not around the children. This is psychologically damaging to children and you will not tolerate your children being psychologically tormented/tortured etc

  i am usually a lurker here, but i got a blast from the past yesterday and it prompted me to post on here.

  my former sister-in-law is part of the lunatic fringe that even most die-hard dubs cringe at.. so i received some business correspondence from ms. looney toons yesterday and at the very bottom is the note "read your bible daily.

  " i started remembering some of the crazy she inflicted on all of us around her.

  Well actually there was signs of abuse..that was the inappropriate clothing in despite the season covering all skin - hide the bruises
